Many thanks to our sponsors for the 2016 season! SponsorCollage

Though Crash competes at the highest levels of Ultimate Frisbee in Canada, winning a National Championship in 2014 and placing 4th in 2015 and 2016, athletes pay nearly all the expenses of being on the team out of pocket. The estimated cost to play a season with Crash (including practice field costs, travel, tournament fees, uniforms, and coaching expenses) is between $1000 and $2000 per player. Players save individually to pay for this opportunity, but your sponsorship is vital in helping more players to be able to compete at this level. In 2016, we were able to use sponsorship money to have players who would otherwise be unable to commit to the team play and we are extremely grateful for this support.

Through our development team Thunder, we try to provide a place for anyone who wants to play and improve at touring level ultimate frisbee in KW & Guelph with a place to take that step to raise their game. Players from Thunder regularly go on to play high-level ultimate with other teams. Thunder generally plays more local tournaments than Crash during their season and could be a great fit for a sponsorship by a more local business.

Why Sponsor Crash & Thunder?

Sponsoring Crash and/or Thunder allows you to promote your brand within both the local (more than 10000 members in Ontario) and national ultimate community (more than 30000 members across Canada) as we regularly travel across the nation to attend tournaments. We are happy to promote your brand on our website and social media, add your logo to our jerseys, or bring a banner with your logo on it to our tournaments. We are also excited to entertain creative ideas for partnerships. We are committed to helping you find a sponsorship that best fits your business. Our sponsorship committee will be happy to discuss options with you. Please email contact@crashultimate.ca to start a discussion.

Community Impact

Crash strives to have a positive impact on our community and to promote the growth of ultimate as a sport in the KW-Guelph region. As a team, we regularly host clinics and other events to help promote and teach ultimate to people in our community. As part of the Storm System of ultimate teams, Crash & Thunder (and in some years Shadow) seek to provide a place for anyone who is interested in touring ultimate to play within KW and Guelph. Several of our players also captain and coach youth teams at high schools in Kitchener and Guelph and we participate in leading the Guelph Ultimate Players Association Juniors program in the summer. We are always happy to share our love for our sport and our region. Please get in touch if you have a way we can reach your community!
